GHN Summer Student publishes in international journal

Every year the Gut Health Network supports students to perform research over the summer break. In 2013-14, Kirsten Ward Hartstonge, at the time a MSc student, was funded by the Gut Health Network to perform cancer research with Dr Tania Slatter. The research was recently published in the highly-ranked international journal, Modern Pathology. The article can be found here.

Kirsten is now a PhD student supervised by Ros Kemp and John McCall, working on immune responses in colorectal cancer.
